Growing up in Rochester New York among a Kodak family full of cameras, Jacqueline Conderacci was exposed to photography at a very early age. To this day, photography and the love of light continue as her passion.

When she arrived in New York City in 1977, she began an illustrious career as the world’s only Shoe Portraitist and exhibited her pen and ink drawings of posed and signed “shoe caricatures” of Broadway celebs at the famous Sardi’s Restaurant.  The Margo Feiden Gallery exhibited her work alongside Al Hirschfelds famous NY Times caricatures and Kurt Vonnegut’s pen and ink illustrations.  Her nom de plume was “Gacci,” which was how her penned “J” looked in her abbreviated name “Jacci,” and quite appropriate in the Gucci era of shoes. This career earned her ten minutes of stardom in the big city and headed her toward professional photography.

Apart from producing postcards, posters and coffee mugs of these famous feet caricatures, she illustrated brand name shoes for major publications until she was hired to publish a shoe magazine for the Fashion Footwear Association of NY (FFANY) where she served as creative director, graphic designer, writer, editor and photographer all under the name of Gacci.

In 1986, retaining her maiden name of Jacqueline Conderacci, she had the privilege of a one woman show at the renowned OK Harris Gallery in Soho, New York entitled: “Locked Up and In and Out” - a series of photographs of locks on Soho lofts.  She went on to produce shoe photography for major shoe corporations and pursued personal projects.

In 1990, Ms Conderacci moved to Aurora New York with her family. She continued her NY magazine until 1997. That year, she published a series of local postcards for Aurora, Skaneatelas and Woodstock.

To date, she documents her love of this region at every available moment and still free-lances as a graphic designer, photo retoucher and photographer. Her company name is Trillium Graphics and From Home Publications.
